Work on the draft European standards for business evaluation 2020

The Ukrainian Society of Appraisers, as a member of TEGoVA, took part in the work on the draft European standards for business evaluation  2020, which will be adopted at the TEGoVA conference on September 11-12, 2019 in Sofia. Together with our proposals, we sent a cover letter of the following content:

 Let me thank you for giving Ukrainian Society of Appraisers the opportunity to join in working on draft European Business Valuation Standards 2020. We tried to provide you with our suggestions/comments until 9 of August 2019 in order the draft to be discussed on the TEGoVA Standards Committee working group meeting in Brussels.

As you understand we had very little time to do our work properly, but our Standards Committee lead by Mr. Artur Ohadzhanyan (aohadzhanyan@deloitte.ua, member of the UkrSoA, REV, partner at Deloitte in Ukraine) did our best in order to concentrate on the most important aspects of the document.

We added two columns with comments and proposed changes in each spreadsheet of the MS Excel file. We also studied comments of Messrs. Anton Lezhja, Andrew Strickland and Bert van Scherpenzeel and would like to note that we agree with them. In very little cases we added some additional arguments to the same points, which the colleagues had commented, but it was rather an exception.
